I just got home from a Steppenwolf concert and they are still badass. Born to be Wild was fucking awesome

I have two of thier records and an 8 track "Steppenwolf - GOLD" basically greatest hits...

They didnt do a good job on it...... The first song (Born to be wild) is QUITE LOW in volume but it does get louder as it goes thru the songs......

I first had the cassette and that was even lower!! (I got rid of it and got the 8 track which thankfully is louder)

They messed up another greatest hits album also: Chicagos greatest hits (The first one (Chicago V I believe)) most songs sound like crap on that!

Anyway the Steppenwolf records I have are

1) Thier first album
2) Monster

They rock!!!!!!!

I’ve seen ‘em twice as John Kay and Steppenwolf. Very good shows.

Amen.
