65 F outside today (I'm in DC). Weirdness. I came here about this time one year and there was a 100 car pileup on I-95 because of a blizzard.

It rained all morning and snowed all afternoon. Flagstaff got quite a few inches of snow and it is expected to warm up and rain a lot more. Those national news floods we had last week, may have been just a little warmup.
There are news trucks all over town.

Nature strikes again, or we're being punished for something. South of Sweden was struck by "Gudrun" the hurricane yesterday.

6 people dead and 411 000 homeowners without power.

Yup, that was pretty wild in Denmark too.
Four dead, and at some point me standing on a bridge getting surf in my face and holding on to dear life, then riding through rains of tile. Fun.

We went sledding up outside of Flagstaff yesterday. 3 to 4 feet and powdery at the sledding hills at the base of the ski resort. We still haven't gotten the promised storm but from what is hitting California right now, we will.

North of the UK got hit pretty bad yesterday and today. Major flooding in Carlisle and 3 dead. One missing, presumed dead. Pissed down here yesterday and the rain was lashing so hard against the window it sounded like someone was flinging a shovel full of gravel at it. Today has been dark and gloomy. More bad weather a cometh.

crazy weekend of weather in London, I think we got the tail-end of Sweden's hurricane as we had winds approaching 90 mph which is just insane in such a southerly and large city.
