Oak Creek is 3 feet above normal right now (which is nothing) but it flows into the Verde River which is already 6 foot over flood stage above the Oak Creek confluence. It is starting to rain pretty good here and Flagstaff is getting a rain/snow mix that is going to melt the 3-4 foot of snow on the rim above us.
It's going to flood like crazy here.
I had breakfast at a local eatery with one of the owners of a parcel of land down on Oak Creek that I am buying 3 acres of and we formalized the deal while listening to the radio going on about the flooding.
It's cold and getting colder. Between -25 and -40 (that's celcius. around -11 to -35 F) for the next couple days with
an extreme wind chill warning getting us down to around -42 to -57. I don't think I'm going to go to school tomorrow when it's supposed to be snow and blowing snow all day. I'm not real excited about that.
Sounds like the planet has had enough of our shit. Death comes for us all.
Update(no one fucking cares,dude. Why even? I don't know)
Insurance WILL cover my furnace!
Cause of electrical fire was bad circuit breaker.
Isn't it good to know when your cozying up in your warm home it could blow up at any time?
