I baked an apple cake passed down from my Gram this morning. So, I'm getting ready to have piece with a cup of tea. (It's an old Mennonite recipe which is similar to Amish,so you can imagine how rich it is.) Yum!

Waking up with night sweats caused by crashing blood sugar is the pits, but as an excuse for two slices of toast with cantaloupe jelly, it is more bearable.

Unfortunately, that was the very last of the that jelly. Tefl, tell you Ma I need some more! Another jar of apple preserves would be nice, as well.
