Nice. I remember thinking the reviews for that sounded really fun.
KOTOR is weird. I can't really remember if '03 was a particularly slow year for games, or what. I can't believe it was pretty much universally crowned Game of the Year. All it does is make me a little nostalgic for SW:G and/or the Jedi Knight series. Man, a good saber duel would be fun right about now. I think I'm pretty close to giving up on this and getting back into BF2. I never really played it much when it first came out, because my system couldn't handle it. Now that there's an expansion, I'm guessing the online community will get another little boost.
KOTOR was okay, i thought, but nothing like I was expecting from the raves I'd heard. I thoroughly enjoyed Jade Empire though (although I have to finish it).
One thing I HATED about KOTOR: When I was a kid, I got a toy lightsaber that included the "Jedi Code". There were 5 or 6 precepts, of which I only remember 2.
• The Jedi does not stab with the lightsaber, it is a slashing weapon.
• The Jedi does not throw the saber.
With this mantra firmly etched into my Jedi brain, I refused to upgrade to the throwing saber technique in KOTOR. Which sucked at the end, because it reallly really really really helps (as in, is necessary) for defeating the final foe. Ugh. Had to replay from an earlier save before my final upgrade so I could acquire it, which just sucked all the fun out of it. And I'd fought the final guy so many times trying different ways to win, I was totally in control by the time I got back to the end and beat it easily. No fun for joo!
Gradius 2 - Emulated on DC. I'll never get tired of flying around shooting things
Outlaw Tennis - Media Play store closing sale. Couldn't find Virtua Tennis. Steven Colbert as the announcer approached funny a few times. Good enough for the price but I wouldn't recommend it unless you're as hard up for video game tennis as I was.
Tony Hawk's American Wasteland - Neversoft needs to do something interesting with this shit or stop making them.

Here ya go.
Mind you this was a collaborative effort between me and my SL business partner and that not every object is built from scratch. Certain things are though, like the whole dock and bait shop, the ship's wheel bell among others. It takes time, but it is a lot of fun. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys creativity.
Second life looks interesting. Most of the games I've played, such as the Command Conquer, Civ3, etc lose my interest once "combat" starts. Building a base, or an entire country, managing the costs, building the defenses are the sort of thing I enjoy.
