Trimph ~ Fight The Good Fight

I never was outright crazy about this power trio, but they made quite a mark for several years. I never hear anything about 'em, anymore, although from what I've read, they've remained active. This song was pretty good:

That was the first band I ever saw in concert, opening for Aerosmith at the Tarrant County Convention Center in Fort Worth on 13 June 1977 for $7.50, and it was a great great show.

I was lookin for my ticket stubs pics, cuz I still have that one, but I can't find em right now.

this has always been one of my favorite songs.

I may have posted this one before, but I can't get over how good this song is. This is one of the ones I used to listen to lying on the floor when I was thirteen with the speakers on either side of my head and the lights turned off. I had one of those old Sanyo stereos with the BSR turntable built onto the top and an 8-track player included. It had shit little speakers, but they were okay if you put em up close to yer head and turned it up.

Molly Hatchet ~ Flirtin' With Disaster

I never saw 'em in concert and I regret that. These Southern boys were some seriously hard rockin', pickin' fools:

Also, here's wikipedia.

The Giraffes - Louis Guthrie Wants To Kill Me

These guys are a fantastic band from Brooklyn. They really don't get the props they deserve, but I figure it's a blessing that the "mainstream" hasn't picked up on them yet.

I saw these guys in a Boston night club many years ago. They were a bit of a Clash clone, but still wrote some great songs. Like this one.

Dance me to your beauty with a burning violin

Dance me to your beauty with a burning violin
Dance me through the panic 'til I'm gathered safely in
Lift me like an olive branch and be my homeward dove
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love
Let me see your beauty when the witnesses are gone
Let me feel you moving like they do in Babylon
Show me slowly what I only know the limits of
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the wedding now, dance me on and on
Dance me very tenderly and dance me very long
We're both of us beneath our love, we're both of us above
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the children who are asking to be born
Dance me through the curtains that our kisses have outworn
Raise a tent of shelter now, though every thread is torn
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to your beauty with a burning violin
Dance me through the panic till I'm gathered safely in
Touch me with your naked hand or touch me with your glove
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love.

<3
