I saw Limitless. I don't know if I reveled in a cinematic endeavor, but I very much enjoyed the trippy visuals and imagining what it would be like to have absolute brainpower. The ending, though. What a copout.

Prince of Persia

not bad, though the oldest brother was white as hell.

Wow, you really watched that? Gyllenhaal's accent was unbearable in the trailer. How'd you make it through an entire film? Were you high?

Not bad for being about a weird-looking non-human predator.

I wish. It was pretty a-typical Theater Blockbuster type movie. That and I kept imaging said White Older Brother as Danny McBride from Your Highness.

How was Your Highness? The drummer and I missed that one. We' ve been Danny McBride fans since The Foot Fist Way.

it wasn't bad, but kind of a missed opportunity. Though I watched it while sober too, so that was also a missed opportunity on my part.

The Day the Earth Stood Still, new version, because it was on TV.

Wow. It was like they had a competition of how best to fuck up this movie. I really wanted to like it, but I just didn't get a chance. 3/10

High Life

pretty good, even though it looked like they were shooting benadryl. Kiefer Sutherland also has a brother, apparently.

Wow, you masochist. Robin Williams in a feel-good movie means RUN.

And Brett, why do your links never open in a new window? Fix it.

Not quite sure why, but I watched an old John Wayne and Dean Martin western, which also co-starred Ricky Nelson, "Rio Bravo".

For once, a western with a coherent and vaquely believable story. I enjoyed it.

Just got out of the show, was mostly impressed.
Andy Serkis deserves an Oscar mention of some sort.

I've become accustomed to right-clicking all links.

Karen adds every movie to our Netflix queue. I tried to put it off as long as i could.

"Anything else"

Sometimes I like myself a nice Woody Allen, even the newer ones. This one was okay...nothing spectacular. the imdb 6 points rating kinda fits in.

but jason biggs is a pisshead, thank god he's not considered as a serious actor.

The World's Fastest Indian

Hopkins is an old, sick Kiwi who travels to USA to set the land-speed record on an old piece of junk. I could see why this is one of LF's favourite movies.

For me at least it was another movie that confronted me with my negative expectations of how things turn out in these kinds of stories. Just waiting for when the nice old man meets a cruel twist of fate. But no, _everyone_ is an angel in disguise. I guess we buy that because the movie is set in a sixties where people had the chance to be decent, not yet being swept up in the sociological horrors of later decades. Or maybe it's because it wasn't made by an American. 7/10
