I think you'll find arguing with AYE is like arguing with that homeless guy in every city who shouts at people on the street, but can't seem to understand anything said to him.

Is there any chance, your humble mind will ever reflect on you the way you are? A boring, whiney, online cunt?

Thanks for validating my statement.
It's odd you of all people would recommend self reflection; something you seem to lack in spades.

dead alive is indeed an awesome movie.

resident evil: afterlife. i was in the mood for a bad movie and i was not let down. every single frame they shot was like a self contained universe of terrible strung together to form an awful multiverse full of infinite stupid possibilities. the fact that it borrowed some of the more interesting parts from resident evil 5 and did fuck all with them was like some kind of painful icing on an abortion of a cake. bonus points were awarded for the t-virus being a literal letter t floating in the bloodstream of the infected.

Haha, sounds awesome. Stuff like that could never get below 0.2 in my book.

Bronson
Danish director* makes arty biopic about the most violent english prisoner ever - results are interesting! 7.2/10

*He (Nicolas Refn) also just won a director's award in Cannes for Drive (out in september): http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0780504/

I still need to see Valhalla Rising.

I heard it's a cool film. I have a downloaded copy but the audio didn't download so well. I think I might go to the store and buy it.

True Grit.

It's hard to say if the Wayne movie was better or not, but Bridges was a damn good Cogburn.

Super 8

I saw Super 8 last night. It's nothing special, not even close. The best way I can sum it up is that it's an[spoiler] .

I give it 1.99 outta 4.00 movie Freds. I'm not gonna bother with a link as the trailers have been all over the place.

Amen.

I thought it was odd that they spent so much time hyping up an ET-meets-Goonies movie. Not that that's a bad thing, but it sounded like something more grand.

My sister and I once sat through a double bill of Logan's Run and Capricorn One three times, just to get away from our mom one day when she was on a tear. By the third go, we could recite long parts of both movies. We left the theater covered in popcorn thrown at us by annoyed patrons.

I only picked it up because it was $1.69, and DVD cases are like $1 each anyway. $.69 is a cheap coaster if it had turned out to be total shit, but it was relatively watchable.

Oh, and because it has O.J. Simpson attempting a serious role. Hilarity.

Capricorn One, I thought it was the best movie in the world when I was a kid.
Then I saw Cannonball Run.

I thought that film was shite!

Source Code (2011)

They can hype it up as a hollywood blockbuster all they like, but it's still only getting a 6/10.

Source Code looked decent enough, but it seems to be hyped up by the same people that massively loved "Moon" because it had the same director. I have my reservations.

I sat the monkeys down last night and showed them Ghostbusters 1&2 back to back. It was refreshing to see their reactions and how it wasn't too different than my own as a kid. And to add to the nostalgia, I made a point of showing it to them on VHS. (I think their biggest laugh came from watching "Uncle Tefl" cuss and fight with the tracking until I said fuckit and cleaned the VCR head by hand. It did however turn into a positive lesson as they were fascinated by the inner workings of the VCR.)

I make a point of showing them at least one good old movie I grew up on each time they come over for the night. Their questions about them afterward are really fun to answer and I love to see the sense of wonder and awe they experience as they take in these "oldschool classics."
