nothing to do today and this just happened so i thought i'd share and make a thread out of it. here is where i'll dump all the little things in daily life that seem to piss me off. feel free to share.
People who ask for advice, but obviously don't want it.
Someone I know just asked me about video cameras since I always have one with me. They are much more casual (and cash strapped) than I am, and mentioned they were looking at a flip cam but wanted some advice. I told them a much better option in several ways for just a little bit more money. After a few other people chimed in, this person replies with confirming their flip cam purchase.
Really? If you want someone to validate your choice, just do it. Don't waste my time pretending to have other options if your mind is already made up.
this is related to the other thread going on right now.
People who get worked up by the Westboro Baptist Church.
It's one thing to laugh at them and flip them off while driving by on completely unrelated business. But these people that seem to have internet seizures every time the church name is raised need to get a fucking life. Don't you realize YOU are the reason they keep doing this? Stop feeding the fucking trolls.

er. yeah. this reminds me of another one.
People with poor english skills/heavy accents in the retail service industry.
I understand english isn't your first language. I sympathize with how hard it must be to learn a bastard language with thousands of ridiculous rules and spelling issues. But if you're going to have a job which requires you to communicate in said language, please learn it. I hate having to figure out what the fuck the retail clerk is saying to me when I just want to fucking BUY SOMETHING.
the only way to effectively deal with the hajis is to carpet bomb mecca with bacon and porn until those little brown cocksuckers completely capitulate and piss all over themselves in a display of submission.

I lived in San Fran for three years. I got rid of my car after a week. That much road rage (and idiots tailgating each other at 90 mph) did not seem like it would be good for my longevity, and I was only 25 at the time.
