Whilst delicious and strong as a retard with a remote control, I can't justify buying beer for that much. 8.5% alcohol.
It's labour Day...not that I'm a 'labourer' in any conventional sense. The liquor store was closed, but the local Propeller brewery was open. Turns out this stuff is higher alcohol content and far higher quality than any beer sold there. I bought 7 of these- currently on # 4. I may be back today- just a warning. I have a bad habit of getting shlitzed and then coming on forums like these and posting something dreadful.
I woke up while they were operating on my arm Thursday morning, and listened to my surgeon cursing - he seemed rather startled when I asked what he had to curse about, I was the one being cut on.
When he came by my room that evening he was most apologetic and seemed extremely embarrassed. I told him mot to worry about it, and I said if he felt that bad he could buy me a drink sometime. When he came by to sign the discharge papers Friday morning he gave me a rather heavy paper bag - with a pint bottle pf Knob Creek Kentucky Straight Rye whiskey in it.
