I guarantee Bernie will never be the President of the United States. He only matters at all because the Democrats hitched their wagon to Hillary's falling star. If she wasn't such a lying, conniving piece of shit, no one would know Bernie's name. I, for one, am delighted he is in this race.
The 2016 presidential election is going to be a referendum on the future of the USA. The outcome of this race will decide whether the United States of America will continue to exist as it has for the last 240 years or whether it will follow the path of Europe which now teeters on economic collapse. It matters little to me which way it goes because I'll likely not be around long enough to live with the consequences. My interest is purely related to my kids and my patriotism. I will say that if America allows the minority of Leftists among her citizens to continue to steer our direction as a nation, it will go down in history as the best thing that ever happened because any true account of the results will be banned by the government. Everything will be ebtter than ever before under the Leftist's rule, regardless of how bad it is. We've already had a taste with Obama's "5%" unemployment rate that everyone in the real world knows is more like 12%-20% and significantly worse for blacks and youth, forget about among America's black youth.
Leftists promise the world and everything in it. They have been running the show format least the last fifty years and what have they fixed? There are still the poor, the homeless, and in fact there are more of all of both. Leftists don't fix anything. They manipulate people in order to cling to power. The Left was our enemy at one time. Today you would never know we "won" the Cold War.
The 2016 election is definitely going to be both one of the most interesting and impactful elections in the history of this republic. Unless the Leftists win. In that case history will recordmit as one of the last elections in US history. Am I exaggeraating? We'll see, won't we?

Yo, Bernie, when was the last time Sweden or Norway defended the free world from destruction? If the rest of the world is ok with calling someone else when they need protection or rescuing, I am all for being just like those countries. If America can focus all our resources on ourselves only, it is not only doable as he says, it's easily doable. However, I somehow think those very nations would not be too excited with America backing out as world cop (as we should anyway) since they would have to then invest in their own defense and start cutting those nifty programs. Leftists like Bernie are dreamers and have no grounding in the real world.
This is just one of the plethora of reasons Bernie will NEVER be elected POTUS. However, if this happens to be one of those extremely rare occasions where I am wrong, I can absolutely guarantee you that Bernie Sanders will not accomplish a single one of his promises. The only thing that will result from his election will be more incompetence, much higher taxes, and zero return on those added taxes.
In the end, Bernie is suggesting nothing that every Leftists aka Democrat has been promising for the last half century. None of it has happened yet and he is not about to change that trend. Especially, as a retired senator from VT.
So I gather you believe Bernie will owe nothing to the unions supporting him? Yeah, okay. Vote for Bernie, LF, it's clear he's your perfect candidate. You voted for Obama so your penchant for traitors is clear. Just remember, no complaining down the road when things really start to suck. If you vote for the problem, you are part of the problem.
The one piece of advice I would give every American if another Leftist is elected POTUS is this, if you do not own a firearm, buy one while you still can. Having a gun could very well determine whether you are breathing in 20 years or so. Good luck.
Tuba, I don't give a damn how you vote or what becomes of America anymore. Unless it affects me personally I don't give a flying fuck. So, don't flatter yourself by mistaking yourself as a thinker because you aren't one and most of all don't presume to know anything about what I really think about anything. You are merely a tool being used by the Left or a tool being manipulated by me. Either way you're still smarter than LF even though you're just as misled. But, then again, that describes just about everyone who frequents this greasy spot on the Internet.
I completely get it Troll.
Anything that Bernie will do if Congress would even let it will affect the stock market negatively.
I just watched on TV right now about how Wal Mart's earning came down a little because they actually raised their wages and extended hours to staff.
And the stock market went down.
So I do see that.
But here's the thing.
We HAVE to pay attention to the majority.
And quite frankly,I would say that 80% is a fair number of Americans that don't give two shits about the market.
What they do actually care about is if they will lose their home tomorrow or if they can feed their kids.
It's going to be a hard sell to convince the people to leave shit alone and don't fuck with it.
Because people are struggling.
I'm not struggling because I'm actually pretty smart.
I zero out my credit cards every month so my score is pretty decent.
But my son is.
He works harder than I've ever worked in my entire life working as a thrift store driver in his own truck the size of the truck
I drove from New York to Texas loading and unloading crap and helping out the lame drivers that can't keep up when he finishes before anyone.
And he makes a decent salary and has a great job attitude but is still struggling in this economy.
His wife makes decent money too.
At the end of the day, people vote for their best interest.
So I too am voting for my kids and my grandchild and any future spawn I may never meet.
And this is EXACTLY why I also believe we will not see a Bernie/Donald fight.
There is no way our true leaders in Congress will have it.
It's gonna be Hillary/Jeb and I'll even put money on it.

I'm not sure that the Lefties of the Asylum have the slightest idea how pissed off the American people are at the Democratic Party AND the establishment GOP that's in bed with them. The next two election cycles are going to see the greatest turnover in Congressional seats in the history of the institution.
I think you may be over-estimating how much people blame his affiliation, and under-estimating how much people blame his pigmentation.
That said, the GOP candidates are at best, well, let's just say they aren't compelling.
Not that the Dems are flush with talent.
In general, politicians gave up on this country decades ago. At the very least, give me an honest candidate as an option.

Let me see if I've got this right, grasshoppa:
1. Your son makes "a decent salary";
2. His wife "makes decent money too", but;
3. They're still struggling.
If I have that correct, please share specifics as to why they are struggling, though they're both gainfully employed with good incomes.
And, to be sure we're on the same page, I understand your use of the word "struggling" means they often have too much month at the end of the money. Yes?
