What you all watching that you like... or don't like?
I really liked "Rectify," but that series is over now.
I started watching "Incorporated," but I bailed out half-way through the third episode. I was watching it and my mind was wandering. That was a dead giveaway that that show wasn't for me. It was boring me. A good show won't bore me.
I'm watching "Aftermath" by watching it "On Demand." I finished the 7th episode over the weekend. It is a horrible show in every possible way, but I'm still finding it interesting.
I read today that "Broadchurch" is coming back. That's a BBC show that I liked a lot. There was an American version as well, which also was very good. The English version stars David Tennant, who is very good as the detective. It's a murder mystery and this year there will be a new murder to solve.
"Homeland" is coming back in a few weeks. That should be fun. Did Quinn die or not? I'll be surprised if he did die. The first season was the best, though. They'll never top that one.
" Future years will never know the seething hell and the black infernal background of countless minor scenes and interiors, (not the official surface courteousness of the Generals, not the few great battles) of the Secession war; and it is best they should notthe real war will never get in the books." ~ Walt Whitman
God I loved this show! I watched every episode of every year and it was so good and I recommend it to everyone here (what is that, like 3 people?). In case you don't know, it's about a cop, Dexter Morgan, who is a blood-spatter analyst, who happens to moonlight as a serial killer. But he only kills people who deserve to be killed because those whom he kills are, themselves, serial killers who keep getting away with their murders. Dexter's sister, Debra Morgan, is a cop, too, in the same precinct house in Miami (where the series takes place), and she plays a co-starring role in the series. She's a very interesting and pretty character. Just typing this now is making me want to watch the whole thing all over again. Hope you enjoy it!
My two favorite shows right now are Bates Motel and Feud. Feud is a show about the making of "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?". That movie starred two women who despised one another -- Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. But it's also about other things, one of which is the director, Robert Aldrich. Jessica Lange, as Joan Crawford, is truly amazing and she should win an Emmy for her great acting. Ms. Lange is an amazing person to begin with.
Bates Motel just gets better and better. There's only about 4 more episodes and then the series ends. Freddie Highmore should at least get an Emmy nomination for his brilliant acting. Rihanna co-starred in this week's episode and she was quite good. She's a super-fan of the show, too. They don't make too many shows as fun and exciting as this one. Admittedly, it's not for everyone's taste. I'll miss it when it's gone. I already can't wait for next Monday's episode.

Totally agree. I watched either 4 or 5 episodes and just couldn't take it anymore and never went back. I can't figure out why that show is so critically acclaimed. Also, I am not a fan of Christian Slater, with his faux Nicholson impersonation. I also didn't like the reality/non-reality aspect of the show either. Just wasn't for me, that's all.
Last weekend's episode wasn't bad. He's deliberating what to do when a town he's poured half a billion into for a casino turns into a raw deal. The payoff is long in coming, but it finally comes, in the final two minutes.

To treat my coming abstinence pains on sunday I shall be watching FWWM.
I watched FWWM recently. Forgot how brilliant it was. Sure, opening half hour is a mind fuck and pushed me towards watching all the Missing Pieces footage. But the Laura Palmer backstory is so good. Such an amazing performance from her and Ray Wise.
Also enjoying how much links back to season 3.
I've also rewatched season 1 and I'm 10 eps into the messy and ridiculously extended season 2. Yet there are so many gems in there I forgot about, like Hawk telling Cooper what the White and Black Lodge are.
