Post A sort of homecoming...

I have been absent from these twisted halls for the last few weeks. This is what has happened:

I got a job. A biggy. A fear-bringer. A test. A right of passage. I am now trying to exceed the period count of a Hemingway novel. okay.

Then I got sick. I never get sick and this was a doozy.

I was stressed out and thought that the job I took was too much. Therefore I drank to much and went to chat. A member of this community set me right like a shipright with a listing ship.

I am back and I have missed you all. I realize how much I missed you only now.

People have posed this question many times in many forms. "Is all of this real?". HA. Is my life real?

Well there it is. Sorry for what I've missed.

Freelance, I'm a contractor.

I wanted to add this. I saw it too late. See what I mean? Go away for a few days and you miss this;

"If there is such a thing as sin in this world; whether you subscribe to the beliefs of Christianity, or you cling desperately to agnosticism, sin lay somewhere in allowing the precious, ineffable beauty of life to slip past, unnoticed."

As in, you got your contractor's license? Started your own company?
If that is the case, I'm impressed. Not an easy feat and I understand the magnitude of your endeavor. Very cool, bowmore.

What are you specializing in?

Garsh. Yes. I won a contract a few weeks ago for the renovation of several hundred hotel and staff accomadation rooms at a local arts school, cultural centre here in Banff.

It is my first big job and it got away from me. Thanks to some good advice from an Asylumite I am back on track and feel great.

There are few better things than the feeling of making something.

Cool

..."Tonight we'll build a bridge
Across the sea and land
See the sky, the burning rain
She will die and live again
Tonight

And your heart beats so slow
Through the rain and fallen snow
Across the fields of mourning
Light's in the distance

Oh don't sorrow, no don't weep
For tonight, at last
I am coming home
I am coming home"

Congrats on the Contract.
