Microsoft Word question

Is there any way to revert to an older saved version of a Word file once you have replaced it with a newer version?

Thanks.

Yes, number the versions as you save them, item01.doc, item02.doc, item03.doc, item04.doc etc.

Then you can revert back to older saved versions at will.

You're welcome.

I'm not aware that Word makes a backup of the last save (in the way that winedt does), so you might be fucked. Macker would surely know for certain.

Not to mention how unstable OpenOffice is or how much of a resource hog it is.

Lord knows, MS Office isn't much of a resource hog. Or unstable.

I like Openoffice. It can interact well with MS office files, is very similar in interface and easy on the pocket.

I'm trying my best to limit the amount of MS products on my machine. even though I am too much of a wuss to change the OS.

Cheers
