A Journey through Berkeley...

All cheesiness aside, I thought I'd share some pictures of my new school- I took pictures of some of my favorite buildings/places/people.

California Hall (Vice Chancellor's office.)

Doe Library (3rd or 4th largest library in the nation, i think)

Dwinelle (worst designed building EVER. I have Spanish here every day.)

Evans (ugliest building in the world. famous for where the math and engineering majors commit suicide.)

Happy Happy Happy Man (famous Berkeley eccentric)

The Mystical Jimi Hendrix Smudge

One of many "Nobel Laureate" parking signs for the designated spaces on campus.

South Hall (the oldest building in the UC system)

Sproul Hall (admin building, famous for the FSM sit ins)

A Telegraph Street sign.

Sather Tower (also known as the Campanile)

The Valley Life Science Building (this picture doesnt do it justice. It's huge and GORGEOUS)

Wheeler Hall (houses a huge lecture hall)

The Lawrence Hall of Science (my new place of work!)

I also wanted to include this poorly done panoramic of my view from work.

no picture of sproul hall is complete without a full veiw of the plaza and all the half dressed girls that are walking though it at any given time.

I'm not. Berkely doesn't strike me as a place that will put up with a bad student for 6 whole years.

Nice shots, very pretty campus. Do ya'll ever get weather? Like, ever?

How could they possibly confuse them?
Morgasm's tits are much bigger. They usually notice that stuff.

Evans isn't much to look at, but I'd say Wurster Hall holds the ugly crown.

Valley was completely gutted and rebuilt from the inside out. I think it was finally finished around '95 when i started at Berkeley. Great place for lectures.

at MIT, one of the windows in the upper levels of one building had to be permanently sealed shut, because so many students killed themselves by jumping out of it.

I think every college campus must have a favorite building for suicides. I know mine did -- also the math/science building. (I have to wander off to ponder. Or, do my homework.)

You know, back at ASU, I never heard of any favorite suicide spots, but I do know that if I were to try, I'd have gone off the Life Sciences E building. Tallest building on campus, and it has an outdoor stairway all the way up.

Here at USC, I also don't know of any spots that get a lot of suicides. But then, I haven't gotten to know much of the school outside the law building, either.
