The Face of Facetious
It's live comedy 2019 for me. Not only did I see Trevor Noah a month ago, but I'm going to see John Cleese in the spring.
Mr. Noah was funny, but he seemed a little unfresh. I assume he flew coach.
You guys ever see any amazing comedians? I used to love Abbott and Costello, but I also found the What's New Pussycat bit from John Mulaney absolutely hilarious. When I was a kid I found Erma Bombeck pretty funny, though I don't know if 25 years later she would still have the same pizzazz.
Got any relatively clean comedians that you recommend?
" Future years will never know the seething hell and the black infernal background of countless minor scenes and interiors, (not the official surface courteousness of the Generals, not the few great battles) of the Secession war; and it is best they should notthe real war will never get in the books." ~ Walt Whitman
