But the wifi means you can go to your McDonalds or Starbucks or Barnes and Noble and surf all day. Even a Library has free wifi now.

It's a small little thing with only a 12 inch screen. It would be perfect to take downtown with me. 8 hour battery life is a win too.
I figure "What the hell?", can't hurt too apply. Given the amount of time I spend on the 'net, and the amount of time I spend writing for e-publication, it might be useful. This way, I could take it with me to the clinic and surf while waiting, or to B&N and surf there. Since I'll be starting peritoneal dialysis in February, and the first several sessions are at least 4 hours each, it would be great to have.
